Translation Workshop: English > Spanish
This is a two-month translation workshop where participants will just TRANSLATE and receive feedback from the instructor. It is designed for advanced translation students or working translators who want to practice their skills. Source texts will be complex text pieces coming from publications like The Economist, The New Yorker, and other respected sources. They will deal with a wide range of topics: from the environment and economics to health and the social sciences.

COST: $320
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Participants receive an approximately 1,000-word piece over email, to translate into Spanish.
In two weeks' time, they email their translation to the instructor.
The instructor emails back her detailed feedback. A Zoom follow-up meeting can be arranged.
The cycle repeats itself over the course of two months, during which participants will have completed four (4) 1,000-word translations.
